Established in 1937, The Tube Council is an international trade association that provides technical support, networking opportunities, educational seminars and a business lead referral system for its members and associate members.
Vis-Com was chosen to create and market a completely new corporate identity for the association. Although existing members include some of the world's largest packaging manufactures, the Tube Council felt their effectiveness was waning, as new membership applications dwindled. Vis-Com began by incorporating a more dynamic logo for the Council. We then developed a marketing theme and consistently applied it to all new collateral and membership materials.
We assisted the Tube Council in trade show selection and media positioning to strengthen their public image and reinforce their corporate identity. A completely new website was developed to attract new members and provide business leads for its existing members.
The number of new members, associate members and international members has increased dramatically since these new marketing efforts were put into place. The Tube Council has been featured in "Cosmetic Packaging and Design" and "Cosmetic/Personal Care Packaging" magazines. Vis-Com is now working directly with the Tube Council membership and promotional committees to launch Phase II's marketing program.
